Meet Leslie Hemings Realtor®

Helping people make a major move in their lives

My name is Leslie Hemmings and I have been a real estate agent since 1982. Yes! I’ve been in business for over three decades and have sold hundreds of properties and worked all over the Lower Mainland. As an experienced negotiator, I always advocate for the interest of my clients.

I am a Boutique Realtor®

I work with two or three clients at a time because I want to give my absolute best and I am present for every step of the process, providing updates every day. When I work with a client, I become part of their team, and I provide support every step of the way because I probably been through what they are going through – from moving with nothing to a new home and start a family, to rightsizing.

My career has been a thrill, and I've gotten a lot of personal satisfaction by helping people find their home and establishing a friendship with my clients. My clients and the relationships I've created with them have become my purpose in all these years of work.

My driving force is truth and honesty.

How I became a Realtor

You could almost say I came into the business by chance. It was my late husband who suggested the possibility of working for myself after the company I was working for laid off all of its employees. I got my real estate license, and the rest is history.

I started my career with United Realty and had the opportunity of making my first deals with Bob Rennie. In the meantime, life went on, and my husband and I bought a house in North Vancouver. At this point, it made more sense to move to Sussex Realty, which was acquired by Real LePage in 2014 and is the same real estate brokerage that I am with today.

However, Rennie phoned me and asked me to come work with him. At the time he was selling condos out of the ground, so I did for five years. During this time, I learned the work ethic and honed my skills. But I was ready to come home, to residential real estate. So I did! Coming back was as if I had finally landed. I’ve never looked back.

A few years ago, I lost my husband. This experience forced me to make many life-changing decisions on my own. I know how life is, I’ve been there.
