Back to school!

Last Friday, I attended the course Ethics: Unlocking the REALTORS Code. Kim Spencer, the ethics guy, presented it. For six hours, we were captivated by Kim, who did an excellent job keeping us engaged and informed in an amusing and interesting manner. Great job by, Kim!

The issue is a big concern for the real estate industry right now and people should be aware that Real Estate agents have to upgrade their skills every two years and pass relicensing prerequisites. This was one of the three courses and I will be taking this year. 

Ethics and legality can be two different things. Be aware the main message from the Ethics course is that ethics and legality are not always the same things. Something might be ethical but not legal and something might be legal but not ethical, which causes so much confusing in our industry. We, REALTORS, need to know the rules.
